If you are an iPhone customer with OS3.0 or above, text the word MMS to 1010 to get MMS working!

When you put your O2 SIM in a phone that doesn't have the O2 settings, we automatically send you them so that you can send picture messages and use internet on your mobile. Please save and activate them if asked. If you have any problems with the settings, try switching your mobile on and off.

If you need to get settings again, text ACTIVE to 2020.

Please note: O2 cannot be held responsible for any lost or changed settings that occur from this configuration process.

Picture messaging

Say it with picture messaging

One of the new features for Apple iOS 4 is that you can send larger picture messages (also known as MMS). O2 customers who update to Apple iOS 4 will be able to send each other picture messages up to 2MB. That's one video or a few pictures.

If you send larger picture messages to other networks, other phones or an iPhone that doesn't use iOS 4, what you send will only be the standard size of 300k. Also, iPhone 2G does not support sending picture messages.
